First, let me say thank you to all who baked, donated, participated and worked at the Harvest Moon Festival.  I was on vacation but heard it was a huge success thanks to all the hard work you did.  You were able to spread the word to so many more people and sell some pretty special bakery items.  So, THANK YOU!

Our next meeting is Monday, October 6 at 6:30 PM at McFadden Manor.  I look forward to an update on the festival and hopefully I will have some good news on the Geriatric Authority.  Have a great week and see you at the meeting!

The Friends of McFadden will be participating in the Harvest Moon Festival.  This annual event is sponsored by the Oak Grove Improvement Association and is cohosted this year with the Chinese Cultural Connection.  We will be hosting a bake sale and games & raffles for children and adults.  Members of Friends of McFadden will be on hand to provide updates on our progress to keep McFadden Memorial Manor open.   Many of the employees, friends and family members of McFadden are participating.  So come learn more about our group, have some fun with the games and purchase some home baked goods!  You may want to purchase extra and freeze them for use in the upcoming holiday season!
